Definition — Qualified Registered Users

Qualified Registered Users of ExpensePlus for Palm.

A qualified registered user that is a person that has previously paid for a license to use ExpensePlus for Palm OS. An ExpensePlus for Palm license has in the past varied from $49.95 to $69.95, depending on when the license was purchased.

To be qualified to purchase the ExpensePlus for Palm Upgrade at the discounted upgrade price, any one of the following must apply:

You have a record of your original ExpensePlus serial number that was issued to you when you purchased your ExpensePlus for Palm license. This is a 10 digit alpha-numeric number that starts with a '3'. You can find this serial number in the email that was originally sent to you when you downloaded and purchased ExpensePlus, or you can find this serial number in your original version of ExpensePlus on your Palm in the "About ExpensePlus..." menu item. If your original software doesn't have a serial number in the "About ExpensePlus..." menu item on your Palm, and if it has a "Purchase & Unlock" button, then you've probably been using it in 'Demo' mode and never purchased a license. If you do have an ExpensePlus serial number, then you may use that as proof of your original purchase allowing you to qualify for the upgrade
Or, you have a credit card statement showing a purchase of ExpensePlus for Palm (or a transaction from WalletWare any time after1998) for either US$49.95 or US$69.95. This is ample proof of ownership of an ExpensePlus license.
Or, you have your original email that was sent to you when you purchased ExpensePlus for Palm. A copy of that email is sufficient proof of ownership of a license.
When WalletWare originally issued you your ExpensePlus serial number when you originally purchased an ExpensePlus for Palm license (either from WalletWare or from a third party online dealer), we would have entered your name, serial number, address, phone number, and email address in our database. If you have no record of your original purchase, but you're certain you purchased a license, you may contact WalletWare at support at walletware.com and we can verify your original purchase by verifying that you're in our database of registered customers. Since there was originally no time limit with ExpensePlus running in 'demo' mode, and if you have no evidence of your purchase and it's still in 'demo' mode, and if you're not in our database of registered users, then it's very likely that you never purchased a license to use ExpensePlus and have been running it in 'demo' mode since you started using it. If so, you may buy a full licnese now by clicking here.

Note that if someone else purchased the license that you are using or someone else is already using your ExpensePlus serial number or if someone else registered their license of ExpensePlus using your serial number, you may or may not qualify for the upgrade. If the original owner or registered user of the ExpensePlus license is willing to transfer his license and serial number to you and give up his or her right to upgrade their copy of ExpensePlus, then you can qualify to upgrade that license. In that case, we will need a letter from the original owner and from that original owner's email address indicating their desire to transfer their license to you and give up their rights for all future upgrades to the product.
