ExpensePlus^® Demo is now available for Palm users to download free of charge. The demo can later be easily converted to a full ExpensePlus package without having to download or install any additional files onto your desktop, laptop, Palm or Pocket PC PDA.

You may try this demo as long as you like -- there is no time limit. You are, however, limited to 30 expenses in a maximum of two expense reports.

Installation Instructions

The installation procedure is quite easy. However, we've listed each step in detail here just in case you've never downloaded any other Palm software before. If you've already had experience with downloading and installing other software packages for your handheld and are already familiar with how to do this, you can probably skip these instructions and go directly to the bottom of this page to download the demo. But if you're new to computers or to handhelds, then continue reading these instructions:

1. Click on the appropriate link below to download the correct version for your Palm or Pocket PC and your desktop or laptop computer
2. Mac users, skip to step 4 below. Windows users: When you click on the link to download the file, your browser will probably ask if you want to save it to your hard drive. You can run the installer from its 'current location'. If you choose "Run this program from its current location", then skip to step 5 below. This is the simplest method to install the software. However, we recommend that you download and save the ExpensePlus Setup program to your hard drive so you can use it in the future should you ever need it again without having to go to our website to download it again.
3. Windows users: your browser will probably ask where you want to save the file. If so, make a careful note of where you save the file on your hard drive. Click on the popup menu next to the "Save In" field at the top of the save window and make a note of the full path of the folders to where you'll be saving the file.
4. Find the installer file you downloaded on your computer. If you need to search for the file on your hard drive because you didn't notice where it was downloaded, search for the following file name:
   • Windows file name:
     • Palm version: "Setup_ExpensePlus.exe"
     • Pocket PC version: "ExpensePlus_Setup.exe"
   • Macintosh file name: "ExpensePlus_Installer"
5. Double click that file once you find it.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen to install the software onto your Windows or Macintosh computer
7. Do a HotSync. This will install the software onto your Palm.
8. Find the "ExpensePlus" icon on your handheld and tap on its icon.
9. Enjoy using the demo!

Purchase & Unlock the Demo - Instructions

After you've used ExpensePlus in 'demo' mode for a while and you're ready to purchase it, you can turn the demo into a full working product by doing the following:

1. Run ExpensePlus on your PDA.
2. Select About ExpensePlus... from the File menu on the main screen (Palm only), or select Register from the Tools menu (Pocket PC only)
3. Tap the Purchase button. You can unlock the product on your Palm by either sending an email message using your desktop computer or by placing a toll-free phone call whenever you're ready to purchase it.
4. Tap the Purchase button again if you're a new user purchasing it for the first time. Tap the Upgrade button if you've already purchased ExpensePlus and are upgrading from an older version
5. Choose an unlock method -- either by phone or by email
6. Follow the instructions on your screen to finish your purchase.

The ExpensePlus demo now includes the ExpensePlus software for either Macintosh or Windows users, so you can try the HotSync or ActiveSync feature and automatically generate expense reports on your computer from your expense data on your Palm or Pocket PC organizer.
