Links to Custom Expense Report Forms
ExpensePlus®can
be linked to any custom expense report form that is created in Excel (Windows
and Macintosh). There are a half dozen sample
expense report forms that are included with ExpensePlus in case your company
allows you to use an expense report format of your own choosing.
If your employer requires you to use their own custom expense report form (most large companies do), then WalletWare can create a custom software program that will link the expense data from ExpensePlus on your Palm – or Windows Mobile–powered (Pocket PC) handheld or smartphone to your employer's form. If WalletWare creates a custom link for you, then during any HotSync or ActiveSync session, your company's custom expense report form automatically appears on your computer's screen, with your form automatically populated with all the data from your Palm or Pocket PC device.
An automatic link that is set up with your custom expense report form can save you hours of work each month that you normally spend creating your expense reports manually in MS Excel. A wasted hour each month in preparing your expense reports manually will cost you a lot more per year than the total cost of ExpensePlus and the cost of creating a custom link. The return on your investment will be very high. Your current custom report can automatically be generated in merely seconds during any HotSync or ActiveSync session once a custom link has been created for your company's custom form.
Creating a Custom Link
WalletWare can create a link to your company's custom expense report form on Windows or Macintosh computers for a nominal fee, or if 10 or more people in your company buy a copy of ExpensePlus, we'll create the link for free!
Please send a copy of your Excel expense report template to support@walletware.com and we'll then send you back a quote indicating how much it would cost to generate a link to your company's custom expense report form. Most links usually cost somewhere between $120 - 500, but the prices can vary quite a bit depending on the complexity of your expense report form and the amount of custom work we must do to link it to your form. Sharing Custom Links
We like to help our customers in any way we can. One of those ways is to keep you informed of existing (or upcoming) links to various company's expense report forms. Our concern is that we don't want our customers spending time creating links to their own custom forms from ExpensePlus if we (or another employee of that company) have invested the time to create a link to that form already.
So in an
attempt to keep duplication of effort down to a minimum, we are now compiling
information here of various customers that we know have written ExpensePlus
links to their own company's forms, or of company's forms for which we (at
WalletWare) have already written links. If your company name is not in this
list, it doesn't mean that one doesn't exist, as this list is changing daily.

We'll post as many ExpensePlus custom links as possible here. Most of these links will be password protected. In most cases, you can simply call us at 918 477-9155, give us your employee ID, and once we verify that you work for the company that you indicate, then we'll give you the password to unlock the ExpensePlus link that will automatically generate your company's expense report form.
Windows Mobile - Pocket PC Devices
Since WalletWare has been shipping a Palm version of ExpensePlus for many years now, but only recently began shipping a Pocket PC version of ExpensePlus, almost all of these links below include a Setup program that installs these plugins into the Palm's HotSync Manager. Most of these custom software programs will work without modification with a Pocket PC, the Setup program for each of these custom links will attempt to set up the files to work with the HotSync Manager. Pocket PC users use a different software program called "ActiveSync". Until each of these Setup programs have been rewritten to install the software into either the HotSync or ActiveSync programs, these setup files will only work with the HotSync Manager (for Palm users). If you have a Pocket PC and you wish to use one of these custom software links and work for one of these companies listed below, then do one of the following:
1. Find a Palm user within your company (WalletWare will help you locate the employee that owned the Palm in your company and that hired WalletWare to create your company's custom software). Then install the custom software on his computer with the HotSync software already installed. You can then copy the custom software from his "\Palm\ExpensePlus\Scripts" directory onto a floppy or CD, then move it to your computer and copy it into your \Shared Documents\ExpensePlus for Pocket PC\Scripts folder on your computer (after you've installed ExpensePlus for Pocket PC on your computer).
2. Or, the employee from your company that hired WalletWare to write the custom link might be able to email you the custom files (not the Setup program, but the actual custom software files) from his Scripts folder (see line 1 above). If he or she mails you the custom scripts and excel templates, then copy those files to your \ExpensePlus for Pocket PC\Scripts\ folder found in your Shared Documents folder on your Windows computer.
3. Or, you can download and install the Palm Desktop software from PalmOne.com. Then you can installl ExpensePlus for Palm on your Desktop. Finally, install the custom software by clicking on the link below. You'll then be able to use the custom software directly from your ActiveSync since the ExpensePlus for Pocket PC software can find custom software links automatically installed into a system running the Palm Desktop software.
4. Or, you can contact WalletWare and for a small fee, your custom Setup program can be modified to setup these custom software files into the appropriate directories on your Windows computer using your ActiveSync software. This last option would be most beneficial if you had multiple Pocket PC users in your company that might want to use ExpensePlus to auto-generate your company's custom expense report form.
List of Companies with Custom Links
Here is a partial list of companies that have already paid for a custom link from ExpensePlus to their own custom expense report form. If you work for one of these companies (below), simply download the custom link, and contact us for the password. You can even use your company's own custom link with the ExpensePlus Demo if you'd like! You must, however, be an employee of one of these companies to get access to the password to unlock the custom link. If you're not an employee of one of these companies, you're welcome to use one of the several expense report templates that are included with ExpensePlus, or follow the instructions above for WalletWare to generate a custom link to your own company's custom expense report form.
Also keep in mind that if you work for one of these companies in this list below, there's a possibility that your company may have already purchased a site license agreement with WalletWare. And if so, you won't have to buy a separate copy of ExpensePlus! In those cases, it's already paid for by your employer.
