again, you can do so without having to purchase the product again.
The software you can
download from this page includes the Windows Mobile (Pocket PC) software,
as well as the Windows software necessary to link the data directly to an
Expense Report form in Microsoft Excel. Several Expense Report templates for
Microsoft Excel are included with the package.
To install the software
on your desktop computer, do the following:
- Download the file shown below. Make a note of where you download the file
on your hard drivve.
- Install ExpensePlus on your Windows computer by double-clicking the file
you downloaded.
- If you only need the desktop or laptop (Windows) software, you need to
go no further. You're done!.
- However, if you need to reinstall the software on your PDA, then simply
perform an ActiveSync with your Pocket PC and it will copy the software to
your PDA.
If, for some reason, you
don't have ExpensePlus on your Pocket PC anymore, then ExpensePlus will ask
for your serial number. Simply enter the ExpensePlus serial number you received
from WalletWare when you purchased it, and that serial number will unlock the
software. If your Pocket PC's Owner Name has changed since you last purchased
ExpensePlus, you can change it back to your original Pocket PC Owner Name in
the "Settings:Owner Information" control panel on your Pocket PC,
and the ExpensePlus serial number will once again unlock the software for you.

below are only for existing ExpensePlus for Pocket PC customers that have

Changes in version 1.1.9.6 (posted February 20, 2008) from version 1.1.9.5
- Fixed problem when both the desktop file and the device file changed.
Now if both files change the device file is always synced first. So the device
file changes takes precedence over the desktop file changes.
- Isolated and resolved a unique sync bug only found in version 1.1.9.5.
Users of version 1.1.9.5 should definitely update to 1.1.9.6. Vista users
with Windows Mobile 6 devices should also upgrade to version 1.1.9.6
Changes in version 1.1.9.5 (posted January 21, 2008) from version 1.1.9.4
- Fixed WMDC 6.1 to WM 6.0 syncing problems
- Fixed an error that could potentially cause a corrupt file if the user
removes the Pocket PC from the cradle in the middle of a sync session.
- Updated the default mileage rate for 2008 in the USA (other users in other
countries are not affected by this change)
- Added msvbvm50.dll to the setup for Windows Vista users (fixes a problem
with the Monthly script on some Vista computers)
- Fixed WMDC 6.1 not shutting down during the installation process
Changes in version 1.1.9.4 (posted April 2, 2007) from version 1.1.9.3
- Added a DLL file to the ExpensePlus installer that has always been required
by ExpensePlus and has always been included with older versions of Windows,
but which is not included with a new install of Windows Vista (this did not
affect
Windows
XP users
upgrading
to Vista -- only users of new computers with Vista pre-installed)
- New feature: Deleting a file on the Pocket PC or the desktop/laptop does
not synchronize to the other computer or PDA. Many customers were
deleting their files on either
the Pocket PC
or the desktop and not realizing it will also delete it off the other end
when synchronized. Now you must delete any files manually from either the
desktop
or the Pocket PC.
- The trash button was not showing up on square and landscape devices, this
has been fixed.
- Stopped trying to re-register the ExpenseSync.dll on the desktop. Because
this would fail if the user did not have admin privileges and then it would
show a confusing message that would indicate something was wrong.
Changes in version 1.1.9.3 (posted August 15, 2006) from version 1.1.9.2
- Improved stability issues during ActiveSync sessions.
- Changed the software
so that user can't mistakenly enter the ExpensePlus serial number as the
Pocket PC Owner name.
- Resized the window on the desktop software so the "Create"
button can be seen on first launch.
- The window on the desktop/laptop computer now remembers its size and
location between launches.
Changes in version 1.1.9.2 (posted March 29, 2005) from version 1.1.9
- Solved some problems and improved reliability with newer versions of ActiveSync
while it synchronizes the ExpensePlus data with the desktop or laptop
computer.
Changes in version 1.1.9 (posted June 15, 2005) from version 1.1.8
- Improved installation procedures on Pocket PC
- Improved date format handling when sending date data to Microsoft Excel
on non-US systems
- ExpensePlus now remembers the last expense report file that was being used,
and when relaunched, it will open that same file.
- Fixed a problem only in 1.1.8 where the drop down list of expense reports
would not open on some Pocket PC devices
- Fixed a problem if the user installed ExpensePlus on the root level of any
hard drive instead of in a more standard location (i.e. Program Files)
Changes in version 1.1.8 (posted May 26, 2005) from version 1.1.7
- Multiple screen layouts are now supported better in version 1.1.8. ExpensePlus
version 1.1.8 now looks much better in landscape mode or on square (non-rectangle)
Pocket PC screens.
- Improvements were made to the installer on the Pocket PC to prevent freezing
or hanging in some rare conditions while installing ExpensePlus on certain
Pocket PCs.
Changes in version 1.1.7 (posted Feb 22, 2005) from version 1.1.6
- Fixed directory creation problem. UNC paths were not having their directories
created correctly, resulting in unresolved files on a few customers' computers.
This only affected a small number of customers, notably users running Windows
XP Pro on a local area network.
- Some directories were being cached incorrectly. If a user had a docking
station with a roaming profile, their user directories were not getting mapped
correctly by ExpensePlus. This could potentially prevent the expense reports
from automatically being created by Excel during a Sync session.
- Fixed a small memory leak in the directory creation logic
Changes in version 1.1.6 (posted Jan 25, 2005) from version 1.1.5
- Fixed the syncing problems with unresolved files when some of the ExpensePlus
files were installed on an SD card or if some if the files were locked in
internal memory
- Fixed the bug on the Pocket PC SE that told the user this program maybe
incompatible with the version of Pocket PC they are running.
- Added a log file (ExpensePlusLog.log) on both the Pocket PC and Windows
computer to show any potential files that might not be synched and why
- Some non-English languages were printing garbage for the decimal separator...this
has been fixed.
- All expense report temporary text files now get saved to the user's "My
Documents" folder on the desktop instead of the "Shared Documents"
folder. This alleviates some of the privacey issues some customers expressed
regarding their raw expense report data in earlier versions of ExpensePlus.
To assist the updating user from losing data, the old reports will remain
in the Shared documents folder until they're manually deleted. But all new
reports will only be stored in "My Documents"
- When users attempt to open the ExpensePlus software on their desktop, they
get a much more detailed message indicating they need to create at least one
expense report and synchronize it before using the desktop software.
Changes in version 1.1.5 from version 1.1.4
- Fixed problem when converting expenses from a currency without decimal numbers
(such as Japanese Yen) to a currency with decimal numbers (such as US$ or
Euros). Prior to version 1.1.5, the converted value would be rounded to the
nearest whole number. In version 1.1.5, the resulting value will retain the
proper number of decimal places for that users' home currency.
- The Payment Source description window on the Pocket PC has been updated
to be more descriptive and more similar to the Palm version of ExpensePlus.
- The maximum length of expense report titles have been reduced to a maximum
of 25 characters to be more compatible with more desktop systems
- Improvements and multiple enhancements for desktop synchronization
- Improvements and better error checking in the Windows installer software.
- Looking up names in Outlook from the Details window has been sped up considerably
in version 1.1.5
- This new version permanently retains the most recent currency conversion
rates correctly now.
- When running in demo mode, all expense reports on the device are now displayed,
and not just the most recent two reports. However,, users in 'demo' mode is
still limited to creating 2 expense reports until the software is purchased
and unlocked.
